What gave birth to Charcoal and Vermillion?

Love for art and create new forms of art through wedding photographs and motion pictures was our only seed which got germinated into CnV.

What is your approach towards shooting a wedding?

This team of visual story tellers has an inclination towards freezing the right moment in the joyous chaotic ambiance and craft the product in a format that not only the couple but also their future generations can look back at and rejoice.

Are you willing to travel?

Yes we do travel all across the world to cover varied and cross culture wedding.

What are the deliverables?

Regarding Photo: All photos taken during the entire length of the wedding will be provided to the couple soon after the completion of the event. Post that client will be asked to choose a certain number of photographs (varies from 100 to 300) which they want to print in their wedding albums.

A good wedding album contains not more than 110 – 120 best wedding images. If the client wants more than one album, they are very much welcome to contact us and we can process the same for them.

Regarding Video: A 3-minute cinematic trailer and a 25–30-minute cinematic highlight film are our main deliverables. Along with this we provide 1 minute teaser for the premium bracket.

In this age of Instagram reels, how important is the wedding album?

Photography is not just about capture or looking at a soft copy on mobile or laptop screen. It’s also about interpreting, about showing to others what it is that we have felt about what we have photographed. Once we caressed it into a format with correct colour and contrast that we like and turn them into prints which injects life inside them. A print is an image with a life of its own. Even though ways of processing is changing everyday the power of print remains the same.

How many types of packages do you provide?

We generally work on 2 package system. One is Creative and other one is Handcrafted. The difference between the two package lies in the team of cinematographers and creative editors. Rest all remains same. (Photographic Team as well as Quality of Album)

When can we expect the delivery?

Editing is a creative process and we take it very seriously. (be it photo or films) Each album design or film goes through a series of iterations till we reach a point where we can carry a hope that “even future generations will contact us to cover their weddings”. It usually takes us minimum 3-4 months to deliver your complete film based on our work schedule.

Are you ok if we hire additional team apart from you?

No, we are not. We try to keep our compositions clean by avoiding distractions and people carrying cameras are a also distraction (including our own team members). We work very closely within our team to ensure we do not obstruct each other's frames and for this very reason we work in exclusivity.

How big is your team?

We have a core team member of 10 photographers, cinematographers, in house album designers and cinematic film editors who are working with us for more than 5 years.

Avismita and Debarshi work a lot with décor in charge of the event to give suggestive measures regarding correct usage of light and backdrop so that when the final product is delivered it takes breathe away for the couple as well as their families

When is the right time to book for wedding?

It is always recommended to book us well in advance so that we can take multiple video calls and plan very well in order to execute an output which can be cherished throughout your life.

What are your payment terms?

We take 50% of the total booking amount at the time of booking, and the remaining 50% on the completion of the event.
