A Bengali Wedding includes so many rituals and ceremonies that can take almost three days or more. It starts with the official registration of the wedding and ends with the Boubhat ceremony (Reception) . The Reception or Boubhat usually arranged by the groom’s family . Though the rituals differ with the various districts of Bengal, among Hindus, it is usually classified into two: the Ghoti and Bangal rituals .
